Mossy Place in the snow

When I saw the video for The Pauper that was posted on Mossy Place’s ig account I knew that we had to release this music on Bruit Direct ラブクラブ (that’s our CD only outlet) I had been listening to her music (poetic, soft, jaunty, thrilling, throbbing, fast, quirky ?) on here of course and knew she was involved with The Puppet Wipes. But this short was maybe one of the most simply elaborate video composition that I ever saw and it deeply touched me. Also, I noticed that she was wearing two different shoes! It kinda moved me in the same way that Edith Frost dancing on cable tv show Chic-A-Go-Go did and does forever.

Cause you wanna be moved in this, our darkest days. You dont want little school girls dying under bombs, or people being deported from wherever they ended up living. Living is just chance happening. No one is illegal. So, here we are, we can still be dancing against the pricks. We can rebel by culture and make our own world different, altogether now. Dance with two different shoes if we must or want. Also, I love MOSS. it’s green, it’s quiet, it’s soft to the touch and gently bounces when you walk on it. You can peel it off and move it from a tree to the land; You can grow moss or you can let it grow, Try it, watch it, listen and we, someday, can join back the buffalo ballet and fix everything with watermelon sugar.
